Twenty One Pilots was formed in 2009. The band originally had three people but in 2011 both Chris Salih and Nick Thomas left the band, leaving Tyler Joseph all alone. Later in the year, Tyler Joseph got a new band member named Josh Dun.  Twenty One Pilots main genre is alternative hip pop and rock, rap, indie, electropop, and pop. They have released five albums, nominated for  101 awards and received 32 awards. The band is still making music to this day.
